Build your Professional career with us

If you want to be part of a team that is actively engaged in expanding the learning potential of students and in the academic research lifecycle the Oklahoma State University Library is the career destination for you!

Teaching

Library faculty and staff engage in transformational teaching and help students take control of learning experiences. This provides a roadmap for exploring information issues such as creation, access, equity, value, and dissemination.

Funded Research

The OSU Library has a dedicated grant manager providing leadership and expertise to Library faculty and staff in procurement and management of grants and contracts. Succesful grant funding from a number of sources has provided enhanced equipment, collections, programming, and more.

Outreach

The Oklahoma Oral History Research Program (OOHRP) is one of the premiere programs in the nation charged with documenting and making accessible the history of Oklahoma and OSU through oral history interviews.

The OSU Library Student Ambassadors represent the student face of the Library supporting events and programming. While sharing the Library's message with campus and the public community, they gain valuable experience in customer services and professionalism.

The Library Communications Services tell the Library's story, connects patrons with the Library, and gives fellow Library employees the communication tools needed to succeed.

Creative Activities

The Edmon Low Creative Studios allows students the opportunity to develop both a proficiency and comfort with new technology they need to be successful at OSU and beyond.

The OSU Library Research and Innovation Commons - currently in development - will serve as a catalyst for new learning and research opportunities in the form of innovative spaces and services, technology-based curricula and resources, and campus-wide collaborations.

Professional development opportunities including individual travel allocations, participation and leadership in workshops and programming, and the opportunity to create and grow ideas from the ground up!
