Digitization Student Assistant

The Edmon Low Library has several openings for Digitization Student Assistants to work approximately 10 hours per week. Hours will be scheduled Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Employment as a student assistant is on a semester-by-semester basis. Continued employment is contingent on funding and performance.

Must work a minimum of 2 hours at one time.
Must be enrolled at least part-time (6 hours undergraduate/4 hours graduate)

What You'll Do

In this role, the student assistants will be responsible for digitizing a variety of archival materials, for example, papers, monographs, photographs, slides, etc. based on established standards and guidelines.

Student assistants will work together by organizing and documenting all digitized output. Student assistants will edit the digital content as assigned to support the different digital initiatives at the library.

Required Qualifications

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud tools, such as image/film editing, compositing and illustrating.  Attention to detail and to processes are necessary to ensure quality output.

Desired Qualifications

Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere.
