What You'll Do

Provide support for the Library's electronic resources, including configuration, activation, authentication, and troubleshooting. Serve as the primary point person for vendor communication. Assist in the management of the Library's discovery (Primo) and collection management (Alma) platforms. Compile usage statistics and generate reports. Assist students, faculty, and staff with technical/research questions. Serve as the backup technical lead for a variety of applications and tools that power the discoverability of Library collections.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience. 

Technical aptitude including basic understanding of operating systems, web development, authentication, and database design.

Experience using Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. 

Experience extracting statistics and generating reports. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

Analytical and problem solving ability. 

Flexibility and an interest in emerging areas of technology.  

Self-starter 

Knowledgable about multiple software packages 

Problem solving skills 

Attention to detail

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's of Computer Science, MSIS, Business, or related field.

Experience using SQL. 

Experience with web-based development and software integration, for example using REST APIs, and JSON or XML for data interoperability.
